Son of Yosef and Roza, Holocaust survivors. Born in Tel Aviv on June 11, 1956. On May 10, 1977, Hanan fell in his role as a helicopter crash in the Jordan Valley. In this disaster, 54 soldiers were killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents and brother. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander said that Hanan was “one of the best officers in the company and a very good friend of mine … He was a young and expensive man with a sensitive soul … I received a good opinion from the outset … Actions that brought others happiness. ” His parents immortalized his name at the monument in the Kiryat Shalom-based permanent army.
