Son of Rahamim and Chilua. Born in 1937 in Baghdad, capital of Iraq, he studied at Masuda Shem Tov Elementary School and one year in high school there, and after immigrating to Israel with his parents in 1951, he joined Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk where he spent his adolescence. During his free time, he liked to read a lot and would explain to his parents almost daily the news in the newspaper: Family problems forced him to leave the kibbutz, but soon he settled in Be’er Ya’akov, where he began studying with a desire to complete his matriculation exams. , He asked for his friend’s company and in his meetings he used to talk quietly and seriously In August 1956 he was drafted into the IDF, and despite the objections of some of his family, he volunteered for the paratroopers and was one of the first soldiers in the corps before the Sinai Campaign. After his discharge from the army he enlisted in the Israel Police and saw this service as a complement to his desire to volunteer for the sake of Israel’s security. Then he began to complete his studies, since he intended to study law. In 1965 he was released from the police and began working for the Ministry of Communications. He was modest in his manner, balanced in words and virtuous. Was devoted and loyal to his home and his friends and a noble figure. In mid-September 1970 he was called to active reserve duty. On September 28, 1970, he died of his wounds after seven days of wrestling with death. He left a wife and two sons. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
