Hagai, Yosef
Son of David and Jordana. Born on the 12th of Av 5714 (12.8.1954) in Tel Aviv. In early November 1972, Yosef was drafted into the IDF B. Intelligence Corps. In the framework of his military service he alternately served as a researcher and registrar. He took part in the Yom Kippur War, stood out for his great devotion and his desire for perfect performance. On the 9th of Cheshvan 5739 (November 9, 1978), when he was in reserve duty, on his way back to the base after a short vacation, he drove his private car and crashed into a truck that raced along the empty road. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left behind a wife, parents and brother.
