Gulniner, Yosef


Born in Warsaw, Poland, on January 12, 1924, he was born in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and began working in frameworks to help his parents, and with the outbreak of the Second World War, After the war he returned to Poland and joined the kibbutz in order to immigrate to Palestine, and his family moved to Poland for this purpose, Who was captured by the British and transported to Cyprus, and was also active in the Haganah and managed to smuggle some of the detainees to Palestine. He was sent to Kibbutz Beit Hashita, but immediately joined the Palmach and moved to Tel Nof as a weapons instructor and squad commander. From there he was sent to one of the Negev Brigade battalions and took part in Operation Yoav in an attack on Iraq Al-Manshiya as a departmental runner. In that same operation, on the 16 th of Tishrei, October 16, 1948, a shell hit the police fence along with Officer Falk. On the 29th of Tishrei 5710 (29.9.1949) he was put to rest at the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
