Son of Ita and Yitzhak was born on the 20th of Jysefów, Bilgoraj, Poland, where he studied in a “cheder” and completed seven classes of a public elementary school. He fought valiantly during the First War of Independence in the winter of Independence. On 21.3.1948, when an Arab put a truck in the Solel Boneh courtyard and saw it, he and his friend Mordecai Komornik saw smoke rising from the truck and realized that this was a car bomb that could explode at any moment and kill dozens of people. To save the lives of the members, he ignored the anticipated danger to their lives, pushed the smoking car out of the yard and continued to push it away until it exploded and killed them both. Hewas brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
