Goldman, Micha

Micha, son of Yaffa (Janet) and Bensh (Bernard), was born on April 4, 1953 in Kibbutz Gadot. Micha was drafted into the IDF in early November 1971 and volunteered for the Armored Corps, and after completing basic training, he completed a tank training course (with a high grade of 95) and a course for tank commanders. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, his unit was sent to the Sinai front, and he participated in the battles of containment and break-ins against the Egyptians. On the 20th of Tishrei 5734 (October 16, 1973), during the battle for the construction of the bridgehead, on the “lexicon” axis near the “Chinese farm,” Micha was severely injured and died of his wounds.
