Goldman (Goltzman), Aharon

Aharon (Goldi), son of Chaya and Fishel,( who survived the Holocaust, who lost their daughter during the Second World War,) was born on April 23, 1947 in Germany and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1948. Aaron was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early November 1965 and assigned to the Engineering Corps. After completing his basic training, he completed a course for infantry commanders, a course for noncommissioned officers of the engineering corps, officers’ course, and a course for combat engineering officers, who was responsible and devoted to his duties, took care of his subordinates and loved them very much, In order not to be a burden on his family, he did not say much about his achievements, and in order not to worry his parents, he did not say anything about the difficult and arduous training, and even concealed his participation in dangerous activities. Including great strength. He studied at the son of-Gurion University of the Negev in Be’er Sheva, in the Department of Biology, and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the Polymer and Fiber School. Aaron was diligent and diligent, persistent and profound. He was loyal and dedicated to his parents, and since he was not religious like them, he tried to find a way of life that would not hurt their feelings. He was a textile chemist at his place of work, and was praised by his employers and colleagues for his thorough work and perseverance. At the end of 1972 he married his girlfriend Ruth. During the Yom Kippur War, Aharon participated in the battle against the Egyptians in Sinai. On February 1, 1973, Aharon fell in the southern sector, north of the Great Bitter Lake, in the region of Taoz as an ally, and was the commander of a platoon to rescue tanks that remained in no-man’s land.
