Golan, Tzur

Tzur, son of Tzvia and Dov Golan, was born in Kibbutz Gevim in 1968. He was recruited to the IDF in mid-November 1987 and volunteered to serve in the Paratroopers Brigade. On the 19th of Tishrei (October 17, 1989) he fell in the course of his duties. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Kibbutz Gevim cemetery, leaving behind his parents and three sisters Smadar, Avishag and Adi. He was promoted to lieutenant colonel after his death.
