Golan, Assaf-Hanan

His great dream was to integrate, upon his discharge from the IDF, in the family farm and in the transportation of trucks he loved so much, and he had a great love for life and the ability to connect with his many friends who were his brothers. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1991 and joined the Israel Defense Forces in August 1991, where he served in the IDF, Armored Corps. Assaf made his way with his friends in a convoy that went to the Khudar post in the northern security zone in Lebanon, where he was killed in a battle in Lebanon and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. Sisters – Eran, Einat and Adi In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin wrote: “Assaf Hanan served in Battalion 9, the Armored Corps.
