Glibter, Eliezer


Son of Berta and Israel, was born on August 10, 1933 in Poland. He spent the war years in Europe, and in 1948 immigrated to Israel at the age of 15. In May 1951, Eliezer enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces and served in the Israel Defense Forces, where he served in a civil service, married and built his home in Rishon Letzion, And from time to time Eliezer worked in professional courses in the IDF in order to advance in his position. In March 1965 he volunteered to serve in the regular army. He was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant, continued his role as a foreign production supplier, excelled in his work, and in April 1966 was promoted to Major General. The opinion of his commanders was: “He is independent in his work, has high doubt, is of a comfortable nature to work, maintains the army’s assets, is devoted.” Eliezer has participated in all of Israel’s wars since immigrating to Israel. After completing many courses as a senior NCO, he was promoted to the rank of major sergeant in May 1968. In 1980 Eliezer suffered a malignant disease, was hospitalized and underwent severe treatment, on the 11th of Elul 5740 (August 23, 1980). He was 48 years old when he died. Eliezer was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. He left behind a wife, a son, a daughter and a father.
