Son of Shlomo and Ella. He was born in Minsk, Russia, on October 31, 1973. In late October 1973, at the height of the Yom Kippur War, the family immigrated to Israel, and after finishing an ulpan in Kiryat Tivon, he settled in Kiron. He was one of the best students, excelled in the real professions and took part in the fields of mathematics, physics and chemistry, and was very friendly and popular with his friends for his willingness to help them even more than necessary. His medical profile was not very high, yet he had a solid body and a great deal of passivity, and was able to withstand the difficult training of the infantry. After basic training, he was sent to the First Bounty Regiment in the battalion, where he underwent a course in infantry and medium-sized mortars, and both of them excelled in the department, most of whose soldiers were native-born, and was one of the leaders. Although he was different from his friends, everyone he learned to know loved him, was easy to communicate and frank, and his friends praised him for his good qualities and good deeds, and he took part in the infiltrations to southern Lebanon, and one of his friends knew how to describe , How he was cheerful and amusing on the other side of the border – and serious and responsible on the other side, Boris was an example of helping soldiers – And in most cases he succeeded, to the surprise of the commanders and the soldiers.In his department, Boris had a brother-in-law with whom he had special friendships – Charlie Belson, a new immigrant.
