Gibley, Moshe
Moshe, son of Miriam and Chaim Gibley, was born on January 3, 1926 in Jerusalem. He studied in an elementary school, studied Arabic and French, and at a young age began to work, to help his parents’ home with small children. In 1943 he volunteered for the British army, serving in Alexandria, Tobruk, Benghazi and Tripoli, and after his discharge returned to work and supported his parents. In the winter of 1948 he served in Haifa and in April 1948 he joined the Carmeli Brigade and participated in battles in the valley and the Galilee. Moshe fell on the 20th of Tishrei, 23.10.1948, and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Rosh Pina.
