Son of Chaya and Nathan Primal. Shmuel was born on June 12, 1932 in Romania, in the town of Czernowitz in the Bukovina region (now in Ukraine), and in 1940, during the Second World War, the Russians took over Czernowitz, but a year later, On October 11, 1941, the town of Czernowitz was known for its blackness, after 50,000 Jews were expelled from their homes and property, and the Frimmel family, like most Jews, was deported to Transnistria And from there they were transferred to Obodovki, and later, in the Nazi riots against the Jews, Chaya Frimel died, her husband Natan and his son Shmuel survived the war, After his parents’ death, Shmuel immigrated to Israel in 1946 on an illegal immigration ship to Eretz Israel, and his family name was changed to Frumet due to a typographical error by the immigration officer, He lived in a kibbutz and worked in the kibbutz and joined the underground fighters in 1948. In 1948, with the establishment of the State of Israel, Shmuel enlisted in the IDF and fought in the War of Independence. After the war, Shmuel was discharged from the IDF, and on August 10, 1955, he enlisted in the Israel Police. Shmuel underwent an officers’ course and served in various command positions with loyalty and devotion. In 1964, Shmuel married Esther (nee Rosenberg), who later joined the police. The couple lived in Jerusalem with their two sons, Ron and Lior. Superintendent Shmuel fell during his service on the 18th of Tevet 5748 (8.1.1988). Fifty-six years old. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem. He left a wife and two sons
