Friling, Avraham (Avi)


Avraham (Avi), son of Sima and Moshe, was born in Kfar Saba on February 16, 1954. Avraham was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of March 1973. On October 19, 1973, in an operation near the bridges on the Suez Canal, the Egyptians began a heavy shelling, in which Avi was injured and killed. He was buried in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul and left behind his parents and sister and was given the rank of corporal.
