Friedman, Menachem (Nachtshe)

Menachem (Nachtshe), son of Hannah and Abraham Friedman, was born on October 25, 1926 in Israel. Because of the difficult financial situation of the family, Menachem went to work before he finished elementary school. Menachem went to work at the home of a farmer in Moshav Tel Adashim where he found great satisfaction but the lack the lack of the possibility of continuing education forced him to continue his search. He went to Kibbutz Ein Harod, where he was satisfied with the half-day work and half-day learning and became one of the pillars of his group.
Menachem was known as good and dedicated. During the War of Independence, he fulfilled his obligation to defend the homeland until he fell in the battle for the conquest of Bir-Asluj on the 4th of Sivan, June 11, 1948. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Revivim.
