Fabrikant, Amnon-Haim
Ben Miriam and Moshe. He was born on April 7, 1948, in Kiryat Haim, in the midst of the War of Independence, where his father had fought in the ranks of the Palmach, and was informed about his birth a month later, He graduated from the Air Force Technical School and was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement when he was 14 years old and played soccer in the Kiryat Haim youth team. He was drafted into the IDF in early December 1965 and assigned to the Air Force. Amnon volunteered to serve in the regular army, and served as a noncommissioned officer in the antiaircraft unit, a noncommissioned officer, and his last position was commander of the Technical Portability Division. According to his commanders, who was in his personal file, Amnon was “an experienced veteran, with a great deal of professional knowledge, who is meticulous and meticulous about procedures and proper work.” Amnon did more than twenty years in the career army. He took part in the Six-Day War, the Yom Kippur War and Operation Peace for the Galilee. He was an exemplary family man, a great father and a man of action. On the 17th of Adar 5753 (9.3.1993) he fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the Kiryat Motzkin cemetery. He left behind a woman – Shoshana, daughter of Chen, father and two sisters – Tova and Tamah. He was promoted to a counter-revolutionary after his death.
