Ezri, Rafael

Son of Simcha and Yehuda, was born on 18.9.1965 in Rehovot to parents who immigrated to Israel from Kurdistan. Raphael began his studies at the school of independent education in the Sela neighborhood, where he went to the Ohel Yosef school in Nes Tziona and completed his studies at the Ort-Julis vocational school, He was always shy, quiet and modest, and Rafael was very attached to his parents and gave them a lot of love, and he hugged them when he came home and wanted to be Simcha. On his kindness and consideration for his friends, the following will testify: One day Rafi came home, his head shaved clean, and he refused to reveal the reasons for the act, but his friends learned that the reason was one of His friends, who lost all his hair due to illness, closed his home and refused to go out, and Rafi liked him very much because he was a fan of the Hapoel Shaarayim soccer team, Raphael was drafted into the IDF in mid-June 1983 and volunteered to serve in the Paratroopers Brigade. Throughout his service, Rafi was a disciplined, highly motivated soldier. His commanders were pleased with how he functioned. In the army, despite the regime and the difficult living conditions, Rafi did not change his taste, and the smile never left his lips, and he was a friend of all. On February 7, 1985, on his way home to celebrate the Purim holiday, Rafi fell to the military cemetery in Rehovot at the age of 19. He left behind his parents, five sisters and five brothers
