At the end of March 1993, Eyal was drafted into the IDF, where he served as a combat soldier in the Golani brigade, went to a sergeant’s course, and returned to the battalion. He loved his battalion and the company in which he served, and the service in Lebanon, and went out to all the ambushes so as not to leave his friends alone, and always took upon himself a role His friends say he was a shy guy who cared for his friends and their needs, respected his parents and his family and was loved by everyone who knew him , His friends, and his family On October 15, 1995, Eyal was killed in a battle in the Reihan area of ​​the security zone in southern Lebanon.
