Eliel, Reuven
Son of David and Rachel. He was born on 27 November 1935 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Graduated from elementary school. He was weak when he was born, but he developed and grew stronger and over time became a tall, handsome, strong-hearted man. He immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1949. He was forced to stop his studies and began working for his large family, where he studied at the Hebrew University of Haifa and studied at the Hebrew University of Haifa, And his love for the homeland was prepared for all and not fearful of any danger, and although his enlistment duty did not yet apply to him because of his age, he entered the IDF in October 1953, before he turned eighteen. He passed a scouting course with honors. When an attempt was made by his girlfriend to move him to a workshop near his home, he laughed and said: “I am a soldier in the IDF and must defend my homeland. He was loved by his commanders and loved by all his friends because of his devotion, enthusiasm and modesty, and at the beginning of the year he was at home and in his separation he announced that he was going to fulfill an important mission in a distant place. He hoped to visit the house during Sukkot, but during the intermediate days of the holiday, the family received news of his fall on the 13 th of Tishrei, October 13, 1954, while serving in the Negev, he died. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
