Dvorsky, Yonah
Yonah, son of Sima and Chaim Dvorsky, was born in 1928 in Petach Tikva. He participated in many battles with courage and dedication and took part in the defense of Negba. When fighting resumed at the end of the first truce, he volunteered for a squad of saboteurs in an attack on the Iraq-Suiden police. Four fences were successfully detonated, and on the fifth day he was injured in an attack and fell on the 2nd of Tammuz (July 9, 1948). In 1951, he was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahalat Yitzhak.
