Ben Miriam and Isaac. He was born on 26 June 1976 in Tel Aviv and was named after his late grandfather on the father’s side. A brother to Kobi and Yoni. He spent his youth in Holon, where he studied at the Chaim Nachman Bialik Elementary School. Even when he was a young boy, those around him were impressed by his wisdom and wisdom and he was identified as gifted. Shaul studied in many enrichment classes: piano, science, meteorology, physics, roller skating, painting and sculpture, and even corresponded with members of the Weizmann Institute of Science. As part of the activities that he took part in during the elementary school period, he was assigned the central roles due to his organizational, leadership and game skills. Shaul read a lot of literature and loved sports very much. From his youth, he belonged to the Hapoel basketball team and continued to play basketball and survival until the day he enlisted in the IDF, where he began to study in the ninth grade in Canada, With an excellent matriculation certificate and an average grade of 105. Shortly before his enlistment, Shaul was tested on the university’s psychometric exam and achieved an excellent score of 700. He completed his high school studies and was accepted to the Academic Reserve for his exceptional achievements and began studying at Tel Aviv University Computer Science Jeff In October 1994, he was drafted and assigned to the Force connection. Shaul began his military service as a trainee in the “Radio Decoding” course at Training Base 7, and from there he climbed to the same training course, and as a result of his excellence in training, it was decided to move him to serve as a guide in the training development section and as a guide for future instructors. Shaul won a prestigious position in the IDF, which demands responsibility, tolerance and significant investment. He spent days and nights in his job; Sat and prepared material and lectures for classes, and even when he came home on holiday he used to sit in his room or in front of the computer, write lessons or make prints and transparencies for his apprentices. Shaul was talented, loved, charismatic and had great joie de vivre, a wonderful friend and guide, and he was a symbol of success. Just one day before his death, he was chosen by the commanders of his base as an outstanding soldier who was supposed to appear before the President of Israel at the 50th anniversary of the State of Israel. He did not receive the news and his many dreams were cut short, several months before his release from the army. On the 8th of Tevet 5758 (8.1.1998) Shaul fell in the line of duty at the age of twenty-one and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Holon, leaving parents and two brothers in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family. Amnon Lipkin-Shahak: “Shaul served as a sergeant in the training base of the Signal Corps, electronics and computers, and was described by his commanders as a professional soldier who performed his duty with endless devotion, demonstrating creativity and initiative. The commander of his unit wrote to his family: “Shaul served as a class sergeant in a course dedicated to training, and in this framework he trained and educated the future generation of instructors and instructors of the corps. His role in the best possible way, with excellence and devotion, and showed an attentive ear to his surroundings. ” The name of Shaul was immortalized in many places: at the memorial site for the fallen of the Corps of Communications, Electronics and Computers in Yehud, at Yad Labanim in Holon, in the memorial plaza opposite the Holon Municipality, Bialik Elementary School and the Kugel High School in Holon, Tel Aviv UniversitySha’arei Zion in Holon, the Tor Sinai Synagogue in Givatayim and the Heritage and Commemoration Room at Training Base 7 in Tzrifin.
