Son of Ida and Ludwig, was born on January 25, 1915, in Vienna, the capital of Austria, where he had a high education in technique, and when the Nazis took control of the country he was to graduate from the Technion in Vienna as an electrical engineer. Among the last to leave the desolate Diaspora on the eve of the outbreak of World War I. In March 1939 he came to Eretz Israel and tried, with many external difficulties, to complete his technical education. He used to take very severe suffering on him, in order to make it easier for other prisoners, and this spirit prevailed throughout his life In 1941, he volunteered for the British army, but was unable to adapt to this environment, and when he returned to his studies at the Technion in Haifa he completed his studies at the Technion in Haifa and remained in the Haifa refineries. Walter served in the 7th Brigade, which was established in the second half of May 1948 and was thrown into battle for the breakthrough to Jerusalem in the Latrun area, and on the second attack on the Latrun Regiment in Latrun (Operation “son of Nun”) on May 31, 1948, And was buried in Na’an. He passed away. On the 2nd of Sivan 5705 (18.5.1950) he was transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Haifa.
