Dachbash, Shalom


Son of Awad and Dina. He was born in 1938 in Aden, and immigrated to Israel in 1949. He studied at an elementary school in Nachalat Yitzhak and was later a member of a group of young immigrants in Kibbutz Dalia, who was not only an outstanding student in his studies, but also the conscience of his group. He became the pillar of the society and its central man, and his activities were felt throughout the social life of the society, and he was able to create social camaraderie among his friends and to influence them in his devotion to the collective idea. In addition to being a good student and an outstanding worker, he proved his ability at the training base and later in the course of the course, just as he knew how to approach each member and to know his needs and problems while he was still in the nucleus. He went out with the rest of the course to the Sinai system as a squad commander, because his commanders knew his responsibility and his abilities and assigned him roles and tasks.
