Cohen, Pinchas (“Pinko”)

Cohen, Pinchas (“Pinko”)

Son of Hershko and Clara. He was born on August 8, 1931, in the city of Harlow, Romania. In 1947, when he was sixteen years old, he decided to immigrate to Israel and be a pioneer in the camp (since the parents did not immigrate until 1951.) In May 1950 he was drafted into the IDF. In the process, he built his house with his own hands and created a frame for his life. On August 29, 1962, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left a wife, a daughter and a son.
