Son of Naomi and Moshe, was born in Be’er Sheva on Saturday, Shushan Purim, 17.3.1978, brother to Shaul and Galit. Eyal was given another name, Michael, after his father’s grandfather. Already in his infancy, he was pleased and happy with his family. A beautiful and quiet baby, who was very curious and the more his creative talents were discovered. He listened attentively to the music his mother loved to hear and at the age of eighteen months began to assemble complex puzzle games. In kindergarten he stood out as a disciplined, diligent and responsible child. He began his elementary studies at Netivot Yoram in the city. His positive character and his academic excellence, without any special effort, were liked by all the teachers. At the teachers’ meetings, the teachers of his classes gave him compliments and praised him for his academic achievements. Eyal’s grandfather, Zeindel, had a movie theater in the city, where Eyal used to spend most of his spare time. He became an expert in filmmaking, and in his youth he hoped to be a film director. When he was thirteen, Eyal traveled with his parents and his grandmother Sliema to a trip to Europe, which included a visit to the Yurodisny, as a bar mitzvah present. Eyal continued his studies at the Ye’elim Junior High School in Be’er Sheva and continued to excel in his studies. He acquired many hobbies, such as music, basketball, soccer, stamps and especially computers, but he did not abandon the love of his life, the cinema. He began to collect videos and CDs and held about 200 films and about 100 CDs. In 1992, Eyal began his high school studies at the Comprehensive School in Be’er Sheva. A handsome, handsome young man who soon turned out to be an outstanding and gifted student with a special sense of humor, brilliant and witty. The class coordinator and educator, Mrs. Della Knaan, used to praise him at the parents’ meetings, claiming that Eyal belonged to a group that raised the grade level of his school. Eyal completed his high school studies in computers. Eyal acquired many friends who were fascinated by the extensive information he showed in computers and film. He discovered a developed technical sense and knew how to overcome various technical faults. Eyal had a warm and special relationship with his family. At home he was an exemplary child, careful to honor his parents and cared for his mother, whom he loved very much. He was connected to the house, to his brother and sister, loved and loved by all the family members, especially his young cousins. He had another love for animals. He raised and nurtured his dog Lucky, who loved him like a lover. In 1996, his family moved to a private home with a large garden, in order to fulfill Eyal’s aspiration. He decorated his room with posters from films, and together with his brother Shaul built a basketball court in the garden. In August 1995 Eyal enlisted in the Armored Corps and advanced on a command track, completing a course for tank commanders, sent to officers’ course, but signed a waiver for his desire to continue his computer studies immediately upon his release. Eyal was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva, leaving behind his parents, brother and sister. Eyal stood out in his smile and developed a sense of humor, and showed self-confidence to those around him at all times. His memory will always be in our hearts. “
