Son of Mevorach HaKohen and Miriam. He was born in 1936 in Sanaa, in Yemen, where he received a Torah-religious education and was educated in the love of God, the people, and the country. This was realized in 1943. Aharon was then eight years old, and Aharon completed his elementary studies at the elementary school in Nes Ziona, but was unable to continue his high school studies due to the situation at the time and was forced to work to help the family. But in this profession he was not satisfied that his ambition was always to advance and add knowledge Turtle Armored Corps. During his years of military service he exemplaryly performed all his duties. He liked his comrades in the platoon and battalion. His military service was high. During his military service Aharon took part in the Sinai Campaign and when he completed his regular service he began to study a profession in order to secure his future. He enrolled and was accepted to the framework and mechanics course at the vocational training school. He completed this course with honors and as a result of his achievements he was immediately accepted to work at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) – “Bedek”; In 1958, after his discharge from the army, he was called up for reserve duty from time to time, but during his work in the “test,” Aharon applied to the Israel Institute of Education in writing and asked to study high school through it. He has studied diligently through this institute and enjoys his studies. There was a lot of happiness on his face when he saw the comments of the teacher and the good grades he had given him. From the day he was hired to work in the “test” and until his last day – for nine years – he worked in the air industry and was very well integrated into his work and daily work. This life gave him a great deal of professional knowledge and an invaluable experience. His friends and colleagues recognized his professional talent and they loved him and he loved them too. The directors of the Mossad praised his dedication and diligence in the work, which was the guiding principle of his work and his attitude toward people. Meanwhile Aaron had set up a family nest. From the very beginning he connected his life in Nes Tziona; Where he acquired a large apartment around him and cultivated a nice garden after his work day and studies – and even found time to engage in his hobbies, music and sports. But his life, his wife and two children, did not last long, because one day Aharon was injured while driving on the Be’er Sheva road in the direction of Mishmar Hanegev in the course of his duty and service during an operational operation. For eight months he fought for his life and on the 8th of Av 5728 (7.8.1968) his life ended. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Nes Tziona. The deputy commander of the brigade wrote a letter of condolence to his family, saying: “Aharon Cohen was a soldier in the unit’s reconnaissance company and was accepted by his comrades and a member of the Nachshoni patrol group. The family, by virtue of the fact that we are its members, will continue to defend sovereignty in the country and its integrity for which bread and its ranks have fallen. “
