Chaim, Eliasaf


Son of Bracha and Mordechai. He was born on the 15th of Iyar, May 14, 1987 in Ma’aleh Adumim. After two years of Torah study, he joined the “Tzabar” battalion of “Givati” on March 25, 2008. Just as he devoted himself to the service of God thoroughly and demanded complete perfection without compromise, so was he devoted to his military tasks. After seven months of training, Eliasaf began operating a “MAG,” a relatively heavy machine gun with heavy ammunition, but he was happy in his role and never grumbled nor complained. His department moved to the Nablus area, and at the beginning of Operation Cast Lead, he participated in the fighting in Gaza. Towards the end of his military service in the Tzabar battalion in the Givati ​​Brigade, Eliasaf received an outstanding soldier’s certificate from the Battalion Commander. He fell on the 3rd of Tishrei, September 21, 2009. He was twenty two years old. He was buried in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem. He was survived by his parents and three brothers.
