Butil, Shimon (‘Shemi’)

Son of Salem and Sa’ida. He was born on January 27, 1956, in Jerusalem. He studied at the elementary school in Ein Kerem. His teacher at the elementary school, Zippora, relates: “Shimon was a quiet, handsome and Yaffa boy, modest and very demanding to himself. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Survived by his parents, eight brothers and sisters. After his death Shimon was promoted to Corporal.
