Busheri, Mishael (Shauli)

Son of David and Simcha. He was born on the 15th of Tishrei, October 8, 1949 in Petah Tikva. When he reached school age, he began studying at the Nir Etzion school. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. In civilian life, he worked as a plumber. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1967. While he was in his compulsory service, a serious injury occurred, and after three days of hospitalization, he died of his wounds, on the 21st of Tammuz, July 17, 1968. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. The commander of the base wrote, in his letter of condolences to his family, on his mental simplicity, and that was how he captured his friends and superiors. He said that he would willingly carry out his duties without complaining about his commanders. The IDF lost a young soldier, at the height of its flowering, a soldier who could have contributed much more to the IDF and the State.
