Brent, Yehuda
Son of Rachel and Simcha. Was born on June 26, 1928 in Tel Aviv. Yehuda was called to service in early February 1948, even before the IDF was officially established, and fought valiantly for the battles of Sha’ar Hagai together with his friends from the religious company. As a reservist, Yehuda took part in all of Israel’s wars: the War of Independence, the Sinai Campaign, the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War, and when his time came to be released even from the reserve service, he volunteered to continue serving. On the 7th of Shvat 5741 (11.1.1981), Yehuda fell during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving behind a wife, son and daughter.
