Shmuel, son of Chaya and Jacob, was born on March 25, 1946 in Bosslo, Romania, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1964. As a responsible person he made sure to do his work with faith, diligence and great devotion. Shmuel was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early April 1967. After completing basic training, he was an excellent machine gunner, responsible and devoted to his role, and served as an example of his friends in his good temper and obedience. He was awarded the “Six-Day War.” In 1969, he married his girlfriend Herta and had a loving and dedicated husband, who was a loyal and good son to his parents and respected them. On October 11, 1973, Shmuel was hit and killed in the shelling near outpost 112 in the area of ​​Hoshenia, while on guard duty. And was brought to rest in the cemetery in Be’er Sheva, where he left behind a wife, son, father, mother, brother and sister, and was raised to the rank of corporal in a letter of condolences to the bereaved family.
