Ben Angel and David. He was born on April 13, 1946, in Syria. In 1951 he immigrated to Israel with his family. Yitzhak was a smiling, optimistic, humorous, sociable and pleasant man, his friends testified, yet introverted about his personal life. At the beginning of February 1964, Yitzhak was drafted into the IDF, and after his discharge from the IDF he spent a certain period in the Merchant Navy. At that time he married Chava, and his daughter Alona was born. At the end of September 1990 he was called for thirty days of reserve service and this service was performed at Adam Bridge in securing the place. On October 9, 1990, Yitzhak fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in the village of Samir near Haifa, leaving two daughters – Avinoam and Moshe – and Leah, forty-four years old at the time of his death. “In his condolence letter to the bereaved family, his commander wrote:” Yitzhak served in our unit for more than two years, and was always a model for the other members of the unit.
