Borochov, Eitan
Ben Rachel and Shmuel, brother of Galia. He was born in Tel Aviv on January 21, 1956. He began his elementary studies at the elementary school and completed his studies at Ironi Aleph High School, and during his youth Eitan was active in the Scout movement and had many hobbies, and he invested in his time and energy. Eitan was a member of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Youth Orchestra and played several musical instruments: drums, alt and trombone, he also had a talent for drawing, and at the age of fourteen he even won a national competition for children’s drawings. He participated in folk swimming competitions, toured the Sea of Galilee and was also an amateur lifeguard, and other sports were table tennis, soccer and light athletics. In August 1974, Eitan enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to the Armored Corps. He completed his military service in the best possible way and in the years following his discharge from the regular army he made sure to fulfill his reserve duty. He volunteered for reserve duty every year until the day he died. After completing his army service, Eitan chose accounting, tax and accounting studies at the College of Management, and upon completion of his studies he opened an independent tax consulting firm in Tel Aviv. Eitan has the joy of life, dynamism, vision and vision. He was always surrounded by friends and his love for animals was expressed in raising dogs and cats. Eitan was a very talented man with extensive knowledge and a range of interests. During his spare time he cultivated his hobbies: he traveled a lot in Israel and around the world, specialized in wine, read a lot of books, worked on increasing his collection of recordings from the 1960s and listened to music. His taste moves on a varied musical spectrum – classical music, rock, oriental, Greek and more. He was particularly interested in mysticism. He has taken courses in astrology, wrist theory and body language. Eitan fell during his service on Wednesday, August 6, 1997, during his reserve service, twenty-three years exactly from the day he joined the IDF and he is forty-one years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Although he had the option not to perform additional employment, Eitan did not give up and asked to volunteer for further training. He also volunteered for the current job. Eitan knew how to manage anywhere and in any situation. There was always the need to act, to do something else, to experience another experience. Always with a mischievous smile on his face, like a child who once again reveals the joys of life. Full of energy and joy of life, used to respect the people around him and to elevate the spirit of the soldiers, wherever he was, even when he was not with the soldiers of his unit. “
