Bleiman, Dov (Bernard)


Dov, son of Teresa (Tova) and Leopold, was born on July 16, 1947, in Lodz, Poland, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1957. He completed his studies at Bialik Elementary School, He studied at the Ramla-Lod Regional High School and successfully passed his matriculation exams, and was a great student in the real professions, and was serious about his approach to studies and work, and his friends remember him as a person who pays little attention to maintaining order and framework. In which he used to concentrate mainly, to overcome the problems and to overcome problems in his basic and methodical way of thinking, he was modest and honest in his manner, Vena daring, he had for humans in general and in particular those close to him. The direct approach and preparation he made many friends, and was ready to help and assist them always as necessary. Dov was drafted into the IDF in early August 1965, and was assigned to the Armored Force. After completing basic training, he completed an artillery course and instructors course and was sent to serve as a guide in the Armored Corps School. He participated in the battles of the Six-Day War and the Karameh operation. He was a conscientious and disciplined soldier, meticulously and efficiently fulfilled his duties, was accepted by his commanders and Ehud on his apprentices. At the beginning of August 1968, Dov was released from regular service and assigned to a reserve unit of the Armored Corps. This unit is called for periods of reserve service. After liberation, Dov began to study electrical engineering at the Technion and received a B.A. He later worked as an engineer in the Weapons Development Authority (Rafael), and continued to study for a master’s degree in science, where he lived in Haifa with his wife Bilha and his son Eti. In the battles that took place south of the axis of Hoshenia on the 8th of Tishrei 5734 (October 8, 1973), his tank received a direct meeting and he was killed and brought to rest in the Lod cemetery, leaving behind a wife, son, father and sister. Nuffalo was promoted to First Sergeant.
