Biton, David
David ben Nissim and Titty. He was born on the 24th Kislav, December 17, 1957 in Hatzor. He studied in Yeshivat HaKotel, in Jerusalem for one year. Learning and knowledge were very important to him. David was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1976 and assigned to the infantry corps, was sent to a parachute training course where he earned his paratrooper’s wings. David was a loyal, devoted, and responsible soldier, loved and accepted by his comrades for his honesty and kindness, always the first to help others in a time of trouble. On the 17th of Elul, September 18th, 1978, he fekk in the line of duty, leaving behind his parents and eight brothers and sisters. His family established a synagogue in Beit El named after him.
