Berkovits, Marian

Marian, son of Sima and Benno Berkovits, was born on July 5, 1975, in the city of Yasi, Romania. On 2 August 2006, during the Second Lebanon War, Marian was called in Order 8 for reserve duty in the Paratroopers Unit. He fell in the Second Lebanon War in a battle on the northern border on August 6, 2006. He was put to rest at the military cemetery in Ashdod. Survived by his parents and two brothers.
