Bantelila (Ben Tolila), Samson

Son of Shlomo and Aviva (Bibi). He was born on 24 July 1957 in Petach Tikvah. He grew up in the neighborhood of Ganei Tikva in the city, in a traditional and children’s family, in which his character was shaped. Here he graduated from elementary school and here he spent three years in high school. Here he also joined the local soccer team of Hapoel and played in the second division. In time he also played in the football team of his base in the army, and he was a key player. He also reached out to other sports, especially basketball. In addition to sport, Samson also developed a second hobby – singing. He had a sensitive musical ear and an evening voice, and when he gave his voice in a song that captivated the hearts of his listeners. His friends in the army wanted his closeness, because he would charm them every evening with his evening voice. It was Shimshon’s dream, after his discharge from the army, to try to develop a career as a professional singer, and at the young age he went to work, first working in the manufacture of safes and then in a tire factory. The work-seekers expressed satisfaction with his diligence and devotion, and said that they would like to be blessed with many workers like him – pleasant and fair-faced, handsome, cheerful and joyous in which many friends and friends gave Shimshon his parents and brothers. After basic training, he was assigned to the Ordnance Corps, underwent professional courses and served far away from home, in a spatial workshop, as a quartermaster. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal, and was found to be a disciplined and responsible soldier who could be relied upon for any task he was assigned to.
