Bakal, Saul

Shaul, son of Berta and Nuri, was born in Petach Tikva on February 16, 1953. Shaul was drafted into the IDF in early November 1970 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps. After basic training, he took a course in a tank turret. When the Yom Kippur War broke out he was sent with his unit to the front in the Golan Heights. On October 6, 1973, Saul was killed in the area of ​​Hoshenia, and he was brought to eternal rest in the Petach Tikva cemetery, leaving behind a father, mother, brother and sister.
