After his discharge from the IDF, he established his home on the kibbutz, and his garden was famous for his beauty, and he liked to read mainly Russian-classical literature (Tolstoy and Dostoevsky) .He was a sports enthusiast and practiced in Karate, Rami was very kind and honest and very sensitive to injustice and injustice, he had a sense of humor, and he was always a pleasant and playful laugh, he was very meticulous in appearance and dress, At the end of the Yom Kippur War, Rami took part in the Sinai Campaign and served as a company medic in the Paratroopers Brigade on October 19, 1973, Was killed by a shrapnel in the left shoulder and died of his wounds, and was brought to rest in the Rishon Letzion cemetery, leaving behind a wife and a son, a father and a brother. He was an outstanding and courageous soldier and an exemplary member of his unit, and published a pamphlet in his memory, including his memoirs, memoirs of his wife, photographs and letters.
