Among other things, he thought of traveling to Australia, studying theater and literature, and much more. He was motivated, among other things, by activity in the Scout movement – but not only as an apprentice, after his instructors quickly recognized his qualities and prepared him for the role of “young center.” In this role, he proved his ability to instruct his students and create a pleasant and creative social atmosphere. At the same time he liked to paint and even wrote poems. In 1983, Avraham enlisted in the IDF, first serving in Sayeret Matkal, and from there he was transferred to the position of instructor in the officers’ course. His job did not satisfy him, and he asked to be transferred to a combat unit again. His request was given to him and he was placed in the Engineering Company of the Golani Brigade, where he was sent to a training base to train the recruits. Afterward, he graduated with honors from the Intelligence Corps, returned to his company and served in that position. “He was always at the center of things, the spirit of society in the company … responsible, loved his job … fulfilled his duties with dedication and loyalty, On November 6, 1985, he fell in the line of duty when the armored personnel carrier of the brigade deteriorated into an abyss.
