Arroyo, Oded
Son of Esther and Elijah. He was born on December 18, 1948 in Kibbutz Evron. He studied at the kibbutz school. He was always cheerful, lively and lively and over the years Oded grew older and more serious. In addition to studies and social activities, he found time to play volleyball. He used to talk and do a lot of things, and was admired for everything because of his great cleverness and his smiling eyes. In the Six-Day War, Oded was among those who took the burden of the Shlachin on their soft shoulders. He worked many more hours and helped his father, who coordinated the industry. He was resourceful and quick at work. He loved working in the machines and got to know her during the Yad Natan course. In January 1968, Oded was drafted into the IDF, along with the rest of his group, the Shahaf group, and volunteered to serve in the Nahal Brigade. In the first weeks after his enlistment, he met with his friends, and as usual he did not complain or argue against anyone, and his smile did not go away. Although he did not like army life and was looking forward to the day of his release, he did not refrain from fulfilling his duty, with dedication and loyalty. There were those who thought he was a “Jobnik” in the Nahal Brigade, raised tomatoes in possession and enjoyed life, but in fact he served in the Nahal commando, along the front lines. He did not tell what he was doing and when asked about it he would reply with a smile and nothing more. When he discovered the badge of the patrolman in his lapel and asked him what he meant, he replied: “Anyone who serves in the border area for six months in a row receives the badge.” Before his military service, his friends met him frequently, and the various plans he planned for his life after the service were full of hope and showed his desire to stay on the kibbutz. (25.6.1970) fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the cemetery in his kibbutz.
