Son of Sultana and Aziz. Born on December 15, 1957 in Tsrifin. Hanania grew up in Kiryat Gat, where he also studied: first at the Shivtei Israel elementary school and later at the Gross High School, where he trained himself in the profession of nibble. Hanania played for the Hapoel and Betar teams, and because of his fast acting he was nicknamed ‘Rabbit’. His fondness for soccer did not cease even after his army service, and when he came home he would rush to the field and practice with the rest of the group. He played both as a defender and as a striker, scoring many goals for the opponents. Nevertheless, he was modest in his ways. Although he was the object of admiration for many of his viewers, he remained unassuming and unceasing. In 1976, Hanania enlisted in the IDF and completed several courses in various courses: first a tank gunner and then a maintenance noncom. Hananiah was pleased with his job and his job, and therefore, after completing his regular service in 1979, he continued his career in the army. In 1984, Hanania married Shula, and the couple had two children: the son Elad – in 1985, and the daughter Moran – who was born in Tel Aviv, In 1987.
