He helped students with difficulty and also nurtured those who needed social reinforcement. He was characterized by a sense of adventure, intellectual curiosity and interest in many fields. Amit was described by his commanders as a responsible, serious, ambitious, clever and motivated soldier, and Amit was always helpful to his colleagues and volunteered for any mission.
