Aharon, Yehuda (Dudu)

Yehuda (Dudu), son of Lotte and Abraham (Alfred, Gandhi), was born on January 29, 1948 in the village of Szold. Yehuda was drafted into the IDF in early 1966 and volunteered to serve in the Paratroopers Brigade. In the Yom Kippur War he was sent to the front in Sinai on October 16, 1973, was hit by a mortar shell and killed. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery at Givat Hayim Ihud and buried next to his brother, leaving behind a mother and two sisters.
