Zuta, David

Son of-Ze’ev and Roger. He was born on December 14, 1951, in Givatayim. He attended the Yahalom Elementary School in Ramat Gan and the Blich High School in Ramat Gan and successfully passed the matriculation exams. He was a member of the Scouts movement, a branch of Ramat Gan. David was not one of those walking along the sides of the road. In his class and among his friends he was always at the center of things, working and doing. When the group of graduates, who was one of its initiators, organized a group of Nachal in the Hamdiya group, he was one of the first to go out to work the land he loved so much. He was a boy who had a warm and sensitive Lev and was always ready to help a friend, a relative and anyone, even if he was not asked. To the Hamdiya group in the Beit She’an Valley, to join the plowing fields in the burning fields in the burning season, excelled as a diligent worker and would wake up every day at dawn to work Deafened. Indeed group members admired his dedication and hard work. David was drafted into the IDF in October 1969, before the age of 18 years, and volunteered to serve in the Nahal Brigade. On Sunday, Tevet Regulations, (12.10.1969), fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. To commemorate David’s memory, his parents established a section for the country’s history in the Blich school library and collected books on this subject. Two articles were also published in his memory in the school newsletter.
