Zuckerman, Shuki (Yehoshua)
Son of Rachel and Aviv. He was born on October 8, 1967 in Petah Tikva. He studied at the Oranim elementary school in Petah Tikva. When he was in fifth grade, his family moved to the Ein Ganim neighborhood and continued his studies at the Ein Ganim school there. He completed his high school studies at the Amal Aleph High School in Petach Tikva, in architecture. Shuki joined the high school and excelled in physics, mathematics and drawing, but at the age of 12 he decided to move to the IAF Technical School where he completed high school. He was a member of the Scout movement and was a member of the Scout movement for a while, and Shuki loved animals, and over the years raised various animals in his home, such as dog, duck, hamsters and chicks. His girlfriend, Avivit, wrote about him: “Shuki was loved by him for everyone. He was always there, ready to help anyone. “In mid-February 1986, he was drafted into the IDF and as a graduate of the technical school, he was placed in the IAF as an electrician. On the 28th of Sivan 5758 (28.5.1988) he fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Petah Tikva. Survived by his parents, a sister – Ofira and brother Alon. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “Shuki, of blessed memory, served in the unit for twenty-seven months. He was a dedicated and loyal soldier, who performed well. The unit is stunned by the sudden and tragic death of your son, who was a friend and colleague. His absence in the unit is felt among his friends and commanders alike. Be sure, we will never forget my markets. “
