Zubaidat, Muhammad

Son of Fatma and Saleh. Muhammad was born on July 1, 1944, a native of the Zubaidat tribe, who was settled in Zubeidat by Tivon, and lived in the encampment, as is customary in the Bedouin tradition. In 1964, Muhammad married Sitha, established a family, and in the following years, he had two children, Malka and Khaled. In January 1968, he volunteered for the Border Police as a tracker, and served in the Beit She’an area, which was a very hot sector, which suffered many incursions and casualties. After a while, he was transferred to the Jerusalem sector. Muhammad wanted to continue serving in the Beit She’an area, but the shortage of the cavalry forced his commanders to move him. Muhammad Zakur, a man who loved to help his friends and help others, was of a quiet and patient nature. On March 29, 1969, Muhammad went on a tour of the security road on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv axis on the railroad tracks. Suddenly, Ramon was thrown at the jeep and blew him up, and the bodyguard was badly wounded and on his way to the hospital died of his injuries. He left behind a wife and two children. His son, Muhammad also joined the Israel Police.
