Zrihan, Jacob


Born in 1925 in the city of Casablanca, Morocco. He was a well-developed boy. He completed his studies at an elementary school and specialized in customs and mechanics. The Land of Israel fascinated him from afar. The echo of the struggle and the gospel of the state enraged him, and in 1947 he immigrated to Israel on the “burglars” ship. He served as a driver in Kibbutz Ramat Hakovesh and served in the IDF as a driver, and was sent to the Jerusalem area where he fell during a shooting attack on a convoy in the Castel area on April 20, 1948. In his memory, The Military Cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem This fallen hero is a “maklan” – a hero whose burial place is unknown.
