Zlotnik, Tamar


Daughter of Shoshana and Shalom. She was born on 15 September 1970 in Kibbutz Shluhot in the Beit She’an Valley. She did her elementary and high school studies at Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu. Tamar invested most of her efforts in order to be successful in her studies, and worked extensively in handicrafts, especially knitting of tablecloths and napkins. Tamar was a hearty, cheerful, smiling girl. She liked to laugh, to dance, and she was always ready to help. In December 1988 she enlisted in the army and after a basic training course, she was sent to serve as an iris, after a service period of about eight months, she requested a transfer to the Negev and was transferred at her request. During her service in a road accident and was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Kibbutz Shluhot, leaving behind her parents, sister Dina, and three brothers – Aran, Yochai and Yonatan.
