Zlatekis, Nimrod
Son of Shmuel and Anat. Born in Tel Aviv on December 24, 1955. He studied at the Smilansky elementary school in Rehovot and continued his studies at the De-Shalit high school in Rehovot. He took part in the first dance company of Rehovot and even went on a tour abroad. Nimrod was drafted into the IDF in January 1974 and volunteered for the Israel Air Force, where he completed a course on flying controllers for more than a year, and then completed a course in air traffic controllers. To recognize and appreciate him for his professional qualities and his serious approach to work and study, and above all – thanks to his human qualities and his relentless pursuit of justice and integrity. Since Nimrod’s ordination as a loading supervisor he succeeded within a short period of time in finding his natural place in the first row of the outstanding inspectors in the unit. “On November 25, 1975, Nimrod fell while serving in Sinai.
